"text": "Since Alex and Lynn have been at this location in Lexington, the customer service has been exceptional and totally different than the prior management ever since the outside parking spots and concrete walls have been cleaned. The place looks totally different more professional and more of a place I would want to refer somebody to, whoever did it did a great job in speaking of which, why don't you have a referral program?",

Lynn made the entire process very smoothe and stress free. She even gave my mom a golf cart ride to her unit. My mom was very happy and had a great day! Highly recommend!",

"text": "Had kind of a rocky start here but the staff is wonderful. I paid for my unit online and needed to go to the facility in person to sign my lease agreement. When I went the next day, I waited 30min while on break for work for no one to be in the office the whole time, despite it being business hours and supposedly there was a note i was coming by. I left due to needing to return to work. I called and scheduled a time to let the office know id return the next day about 1 o'clock. Once again I had to wait around 30min for the employee to return to the office. She was apparently walking the grounds, seemed to be training a new employee. What saves this place for me is that Jill was very genuine and disarming to my cranky mood. She made me feel genuinely welcome and apologized for my wait. I left feeling good, ready to move in after signing all my documents. Well, that weekend I had a rocky move in time too! I had a hard time locating my unit (the door near my unit was not labeled) and spent time wandering the halls of the building. I was frustrated after a long day of moving that I had to walk aimlessly looking for my storage unit. Nita from Hardscrabble location helped me find my unit on the map, despite having a hard time locating it too since this is not her branch. And then, next roadblock happened to be my supposed unit was already occupied?? Very strange, but I know mistakes happen. This mistake was immediately recognized when I let the new girl know what was going on and I was immediately assigned the next closest unit of the same size. The new girl was very sweet (not sure her name) and she went to the trouble of chasing down 2 carts for us to use to move our stuff once we had the new unit. To top this turned-around experience off, I was fairly compensated for my time and frustration of the unit mix up. All three women showed great customer service and I was especially impressed with the compassion and professionalism they showed. I feel very glad I chose them in the end because I understand things happen, but it's the acknowledgement and response to those mistakes that matters.",

This is different , from the moment I walked brenda at the front desk was super nice and welcoming. gave me all the discount available, then when I met the manager (Chris) amazing gentleman catered for my needs, attentive and made sure I was well settled in. "text": "Morningstar on Old Cherokee Rd. has been a God sent for my family and I. We're new to the area and the closing of our mortgage loan didn't sync with the move out date of our previous home. Chris, the manager at Morningstar, saved us. We had to very quickly find somewhere to store our entire house for at least a week until we could close and do home repairs in the new home. As it turns out because the moving company didn't come back to continue the move for us, we little by little had to move from Morningstar Storage to our new home through car trips. Chris was so accommodating to our circumstances. First, he listened very well to our circumstances to determine what we needed. He helped us at closing time when most people would be rushing to go home. Second, he provided us with a big enough unit for the entire house (four bedrooms) without the need for renting several units. Third, he didn't hold us to one month that we initially asked for. Fourth, we were allowed to use Morningstar's moving truck for 4hrs up to fifty miles for free to move the largest items after being in storage at Morningstar for three months. Because we had no plans to stay there past a month I didn't make arrangements to pay the rent automatically. While I'm embarrassed to mention this it's worth noting that Chris even sent reminders verbally and through email that my rent was due. He is very professional and yet personable at the same time. He could really relate to our family's circumstances. It felt so good to have our home stored in a facility that was secured with cameras and an automated gate that could be accessed 24hrs a day. I strongly recommend that Morningstar Storage be the facility to use given Chris's service, its location near all of the department stores on Sunset Blvd., and the security with 24hr access. Thank you Chris and Morningstar! 🙂",

I was in and out of there with a key to my storage unit and a code to the gate within 25 minutes. Thanks Chris!",

He went above and beyond to make the process as stress free and smooth as possible. He showed me to my unit and taught me how to use the lock. I had the most pleasant and wonderful professional experience with Ms Brenda. She is the Admin for Morningstar Storage. She was so pleasant and gave me a tour that was outstanding. I was impressed with the facility it is clean and has indoor aircontrol climate for the units, this was exactly what I needed and was satisfied to find. I will recommend anyone who is looking for a storage facility to Morningstar Storage just as someone (Jordan) did for me. Thank you Ms Brenda for your professionlism and kindness. "text": "Chris and staff were easy to work with and were able to accommodate my needs for camper storage. This is a very nice and clean storage facility. All parking storage is paved or concrete. I had no problems parking in my spot the first try. While there I was asked if I needed any help by one of the staff members patrolling the lot. Chris was very professional while taking care of me. I highly recommend this facility.",

When I called to pay my bill and close it out, Reuben had already voided out my balance and didn't charge me anything at all, even though he was under no obligation to do so! "text": "Very nice, good prices, no hassles, clean. My only issues are minor but it would greatly improve my score for Devon Self Storage. That being there is no place to put trash, no restrooms after the office closes, and they could keep the climate controlled units a little cooler. Those features would have me giving them 5 stars. But its still a great place and i am very pleased.",

"text": "I reserved a storage spot at another local storage unit. When I arrived, with a fully packed moving truck & three other cars, they did not have what we reserved. This particular storage company was offering a month free as well. I scrambled to find a close location & came upon Devon Storage. Katheryn at Devon was tremendously helpful & empathetic towards our situation. She was able to provide me with a $1 charge for one month and then found another discount she could provide for us as well. This ended up getting us right at the same price as the other storage company. This was true service with the customer in mind. She thought outside of the box & put herself in our situation and did everything she could to meet us where we were. It is because of service like this that I would recommend Devon.",

There are cheaper storage places around but you get what you pay or and Reuben and the staff make visiting to store items a pure pleasure. The facilities are clean, climate controlled and sufficient for every type of storage need. I would recommend this place to family and friends",

"text": "I have been a regular at this storage facility for years with supplies for my job. When I needed a place for my furniture during a move, of course I got my unit here. Shon at the office was kind, considerate, and helpful in making my move a little bit easier. The day following my unit rental, I was bringing some boxes and got a stressful call regarding my sale and was visibly frustrated when I arrived. Shon came out of the office and asked if he could help me with anything. That little bit of consideration from him changed my day back. I asked him why he came out to help me move my few boxes in and he very politely said, \"I saw the look on your face from inside and thought you could use some help.\" He was right. And it's the little touches that make a business superior to the rest. Relationships are everything. Keep up the great work.",

"text": "My fiancee' and I stored at Devon Self Storage for about 6 months. One of the managers there, Shonski, made things very easy for us. He was very informative and professional with our move in process and anytime we had to go by the office on the weekend he was very helpful and upbeat. He even stepped out of the office when we were moving stuff in and helped us move a few of our heavy belonging. How many managers these days do that? The day we moved in he was slammed busy with customers but when he got free he even came and gave us a hand. As a matter of fact, just about every weekend when we went by our unit, he was working alone and was slammed busy with customers, but he was always smiling. He deserves a big bonus and a raise for his level of professionalism and for being so helpful!! Because of him I have referred Devon Self Storage to a few of my friends.",

"text": "I have had a storage unit at Devon Self Storage for well over a year now. I am in a place of transition in my life so all of my belongings are in storage. The staff is kind, and professional and always helpful. I had an issue with my door not staying up and my light not coming on. I asked Shonski Gibson, the Property Manager if he could come down and look at the door and see if it could be fixed. I had some work to do sorting and rearranging my belongings. I figured I would see him in an hour or two, but that wasn't the case. Shonski came down right away and fixed the door. He even helped me move 2 or 3 things out of the storage unit to make my job easier. Shonski has always been courteous, helpful and he always has a smile for me when I go in the office.\nThe floors and parking lot are always neat and clean. It doesn't feel dirty when you go to your storage unit. You can't go wrong with Devon Self Storage.",
