The team is attentive, helpful, and genuinely tries to make things easy — whether it’s choosing the right unit, explaining the terms, or helping you navigate the facility. Pricing is another strong point: the rates are reasonable compared to many competitors in the area, and you feel like you’re getting a fair deal for the space and service provided.\n\nThe only real drawback is the access layout. Unfortunately, the entrance and maneuvering area are not very convenient, especially if you’re driving a larger vehicle, towing, or moving bulky items. The design makes it harder than it should be to enter, position your vehicle, or make quick in-and-out trips. It’s manageable, but definitely not ideal and can slow you down if you’re in a hurry.\n\nOverall, a good storage facility with excellent staff and fair prices — just be prepared for a somewhat uncomfortable and tight entry setup. If convenience of access is your top priority, keep this in mind; otherwise, it’s a solid option.",

"text": "We had a great experience here. Overall, the unit fulfilled the need, and the facility was pretty well kept. When we initially started to rent it was difficult to find our unit, and at times people would use the lift for long periods of time and you would have to wait a long time. The staff is always nice and helpful! We would continue renting if it wasn't for the consistent price inflation. 40 dollars a month price jump in under a year just seems steep.",

There’s a freight style elevator for units that aren’t on the ground floor and flat carts you can borrow in case you didn’t bring your own which was a huge help for my basement unit and many totes! Signing up and acquiring my unit was pretty straight forward and easy. I appreciated the automatic discount for signing up online. Overall a great experience at Extra Space Storage!",

Mike at the Arlington Heights facility went above and beyond the call of duty by offering safe options in getting a delivery done in a safe and efficient manner, for one of the tenants. He is also very very friendly and cares for the appearance and upkeep of the facility. Please don’t lose this gem of an employee!",

Ownership of this location changed hands and we found the transition simple and streamlined as a customer. We have had no issues with this location. Our only recommendation would be to potentially avoid basement units as they can get humid and items/walls develop condensation. Just get an upper floor or drive up where it seems to be drier.",
