When you go to website to pay bill there are no options to pay the proper amount. Just the amount they say you owe even if it is wrong. Outdoor parking units are not maintained and the pest control is non existent. My Boat has rat and carpenter ant damage from dead trees on the property but you cannot get anyone on the phone to discuss the matter. I rented the storage unit for five weeks. I paid in full two months rent. When I removed all my belongings, I contacted the company letting them know that I vacated. I was told this would be addressed, it never was. Safety is paramount and management\\/owners obviously don't care. Ramp up the prices, don't compete, run the place on the cheap. Glad I moved out. Also, rat dung throughout my unit, on every box, same as when I was in the upper units. Read my past review. Dangerous stairways to carry items up and down. Accidents waiting to happen. Most of the reviews on here now are for those folks, and not the new owners. The new owners have changed nothing about the place and increased the cost of storage by nearly 25%. Furthermore, they make policy changes and changes in prices without giving any prior notice to current renters. When asked to show proof where they gave notice of any of the changes made, they are unable to do so. If you rent here now with the new owners, you will likely get a sudden hike in the charge on your card on file without ever getting a prior notice, then they are rigid about any refunds leaving you with likely the only way to resolve it being take the matter to court. Do your research and look around the area. Her husband helped me on that first day when I was moving in. After that when I needed help I received no response. I'm a 48 year old woman and I'm disabled. For $125, I received a unit on the upper level with no stairs or elevator to get there. To get your belongings in and out of your storage bin you need to find the one set of metal stairs in the bldg. They are like the ones that you would use in a warehouse store. They're next to impossible turning corners and maneuvering close to your unit. You also have to use all of your body weight to lock in the break if u can evn do it at all. Sometimes i just couldnt. Another task i was unable to do is lift the heavy metal side of the top that is supposed to b a railing so u dont fall out. One side is open to step or hop into ur ur unit. The railing side has to b removed n replaced depending on which side your unit is facing. The only other option is another piece of Warehouse machinery that is a lift but you need 2 people to operate the lift. One on the bottom and one on the top. There are warnings posted on the machine That you should not ride on the lift but there is no other way to get up to your stuff. I tried pushing the stairs near the lift but that was impossible. This lift is even more difficult to move about the hallways than the stairs. I could NEVER move this by myself. It always got hung up against one wall. I needed to bring a man with me to do it. IDK about u ladies but this really pissed me off. If u dont hav a husba d or bf - or maybe if u evn do - it really sucks to hav to depend on someone else to help u. I had to keep paying my rent while trying to find someone to help and i just moved to FL so i didnt know anyone! Another kicker is u can only use the lift if the person that used it b4 u was decent enough to plug it back in. About half of the time its dead n u can't use it at all. So my experience was awful. I'm hoping my review will let others know wat they're getting into b4 they choose their storage facility.
