A  while back, I rented a storage unit at Tygar and stored some overflow furniture pieces. There is a requirement to purchase their insurance which sounds good,  being I had some costly pieces for resale. There was a storm whereas my unit got flooded. The water came up on one side of my unit, I could see the watermarks on the wall. The flooding totally ruined an expensive imported handmade, handpainted ornate trunk. It also affected the legs on an antique table, which I later sanded and painted.\\nWhen I tried to make a claim on the trunk only, it was refused because the water came up from the floor and not down from the ceiling. I would never recommend renting from a place like this. We got a 10x20 unit but realized after we got there that it was way too much space. We called Robin to see if there was a smaller unit available. Luckily she was able to find us a 10x10 unit that was just moved out of the previous day. She was able to transfer our payment from the 10x20 to the 10x10 so that we wouldn't be stuck renting space we didn't need.
